What's In a Name?

Ee-taow is a word from the Mouk tribe of Papua New Guinea that means “It is true!  It is good!”

Members of the tribe called out ee-taow in celebration for two hours in response to the realization that their sins were forgiven.  We chose this name because it is our desire that the students in the Chapin community would come to understand the reality of the Gospel much like the members of the Mouk tribe.

Mission Statement:

Transforming students through Christ's love, firmly grounding them in God's Word, to passionately proclaim the Gospel.

Say what?

To put it simply, we exist as a vehicle for God to use to reveal Himself (His perfection, grace and perfect love), who we are (hopeless sinners in need of a savior), and the good news of Jesus Christ. We strive to teach the whole of God’s Word and trust His Holy Spirit to transform lives.
